Baked Cheese, Broccoli & Gnocchi Traybak

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g store-bought chilled gnocchi

  • 1 head of broccoli

  • 1 round of Camembert or Brie cheese

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt, pepper & onion powder (or your favourite seasoning blend)

Tip: No need to pre-cook the broccoli! Straight in the oven = best texture. Pre-cooking turns it to mush (and nobody wants that).

DIRECTIONS

Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan bake). Chop your broccoli into bite-sized florets.
Toss the broccoli and gnocchi with olive oil, salt, pepper, and onion powder, then spread them around a baking dish or tray. Place your round of cheese in the middle and bake everything for 25 minutes. After the first 10 minutes, carefully slice open the top of the cheese and fold the edges back so it can get extra melty and golden. Pull it out once everything’s golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Serve immediately. No plating required — just dig in and swipe your crispy gnocchi and broccoli bites through that molten cheese centre.
